Alfons Juan Ciscar is professor at the Department of Computer Systems and Computation (DSIC) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), where he teaches courses related to machine learning, NLP, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition etc. He is also director of the Machine Learning and Language Processing research group at UPV, and has collaborated on several national and international projects in the field of human language technologies.

Prof. Dr. Matjaž Debevc
Matjaž Debevc is professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor. His main research focus is the development of digital accessibility tools for users of international sign language. He is a member of the Expert Group for Accessibility at the World Federation of the Deaf, which produces guidelines to further the equality of deaf people for international bodies such as the UN, WHO, UNESCO, UNICEF, European Commission and others.

Dr. Alexandra Krause
Alexandra Krause from the Centre for Translation Studies at the University of Vienna teaches courses related to intercultural communication and culture-based translation. Nancy Matis

Dr. Davor Orlič
Davor Orlič is co-founder of the e-learning site videolectures.net, operated by the Centre for Knowledge Transfer in Information Technologies at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana. He is also deputy of UNESCO Chair on Open Technologies for Open Educational Resources and Open Learning and COO of the Knowledge 4 All Foundation.
